My first time trying off camera lighting
Strobist: SB600 right of camera shot through umbrella. SB 800 bare, on left of camera dialed down.
After shooting with Amanda, Nikki and i went out for photos! We drove around hoping to find a cool farm/field with fall colours but we were finding nothing and it started to rain again. We finally found a park we thought would be a good landscape photo but no dice.
So as we were about to leave we noticed this stair case and i asked her to model. Although it's hard to tell she was modelling in the rain the entire time!

My friend Amanda and I went for a photoshoot today. All day the weather held off so we parked my truck, got out and walked about a mile. First we discovered an entire alley way of graffiti. It was like graffiti heaven!
So, we set everything up, fire off a few test shots to get the lighting how i wanted it. We finally are good to go and we take maybe 10-15 decent photos when i feel the first rain drop. We figure it will pass but no. A minute later it starts to pour! Luckily there was an air conditioner in the window near by so we took the camera equipment and ran under. Do you know how much of a tease it is to have a shoot through umbrella and not be able to use it to keep yourself dry?! lol
Anyways, we wait under there for 10 minutes before giving in and deciding it just wasn't going to work. So when the rain let up we walked out to get back to the truck.
10 feet into our journey back and BAM! It starts to rain like the flood gates of heaven just opened. We were literally drenched head to toe in seconds! We decided to keep going and then had to go to the mall for her to buy a new shirt since she still had a 3 hour class left tonight lol
