In a shift, Obama says tap oil reserves 2:38pm EDT
LANSING, Michigan (Reuters) - Barack Obama proposed on Monday tapping the strategic oil reserve to help lower gas prices, a reversal of an earlier stance, and called rival John McCain a tool of big oil companies as rising energy costs took center stage in the U.S. presidential campaign.

You know of course now ol' Shifty says in effect "The Democrats are wrong for not allowing any expansion in the production of energy.
They are so wrong in fact that they created an emergency and we now need to tap the national reserve in order to restore some balance."

I may become an ardent Obama supporter. Put enough heat on the guy and he will change his position in a flash!

We need to expand the production of all sorts of energy sources. That is what we need to do.
I am delighted B Husseain Obama now admits the Republicans were right all along and the Demos were and are wrong.
